In the 1980s, Make-up Studio Amsterdam was founded by a small group of make-up specialists led by make-up artist Wil van 't Hek in Amsterdam, the city of art, tolerance and diversity. This is how Make-up Studio was born. Wil not only created make-up of the best possible quality, but also developed completely new products such as the first matte eye shadow with intense color pigmentation that can also be applied wet. He sold all his products in his own shop in the center of Amsterdam called Back Stage, which still exists today.
