Yvone Christa New York is world-renowned for reinventing the ancient art of traditional filigree jewelry with a modern sensibility. Each piece is carefully handcrafted using the Venetian filigree technique: thin silver wires delicately twisted into patterns and soldered together, then given an aged finish. Many pieces feature freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones such as jade, quartz, jasper, citrine, amethyst, onyx, and cubic zirconia.

Yvone Christa’s collections are inspired by flowers: tulips, hydrangeas, daisies or mythological and legendary places from ancient times. The Garden of Eden collection , for example, features Adam and Eve earrings, snakes writhing around Lemurian water gemstones and butterflies and leaves with demure baroque pearl settings. The Chair-ity collection sought inspiration from the delicate workmanship of vintage chairs from various stylistic periods: Victorian, Elizabethan, Gustavian, Art Nouveau and Empire. The recent Lotus collection features designs inspired by the beauty of the namesake flower.
